The total area of the park is 220 km2 including around 33 mammals SPECIES, 138 species of birds and 6 species of plants. It is one of the best sites in the zone as well as in the region where good population of the endemic Swayne\u2019s hartebeests are still survive. Maze offers extreme pleasure together with breathe taking scenic beauty that is comparable or even more spectacular than any other attraction in Ethiopia .The Swayne\u2019s Harte beasts is one of the most tourist appeal to the park and the tourists will have ample opportunities to see Orbi&#8217; Bohor ,Red Buck, Buffalo, Warthog, Bush buck, Water buck, Greater kudu, Bush pig, Anubis Baboon, several wild Cat species, and the large predator, Lion and Leopard. There are two camp sites in the park.
